Amy — this reminds me of Ruth Bell Graham’s tombstone. Billy’s wife saw this sign one day and told him she wanted it on her stone — “End of construction- thank you for your patience” Having been born in China she ask that the character “YI ” (Righteousness) also be on her stone. We truly are a work in progress — only completed by His righteousness!!

We need to connect soon – if you are now in Denver
I completely relate to this sign, because life truly is a construction project, and many of us seek to have God as our General Contractor (but we are still “works in progress”)!
Awesome! The sign is perfect for all of humanity. As much as we like to fool ourselves into believing we have it together, we are all in need of some major repair work.
Switching gears… One of my favourite sign pics (have a collection from my years in Asia) is from a bus at the Chengdu bus station with the phrase “Don’t kiss me it hurts!”-meaning “don’t tailgate!’
Love this! I am actually about to start a link up on Wednesdays called WIP Wednesday (Work In Progress) with posts focusing on recognizing the work God is doing in and around us!!
Perfect! WIP…. All of us.
So glad to meet you, one who pays attention to life’s many lessons, even signs.
Signs, signs, everywhere a sign. But are we paying attention like they told us to do in school? I am, and so are you!
Amy, this is great :) I never thought about looking for a sign that might sum me up, but I like this one you found. We really are all works in progress, aren’t we? Blessings to you!

I’ve heard the RBG tombstone but had forgotten it. Thanks for bringing it back to mind — I love it!

My current life sign/memo would be: “You have 2 new updates, please download and restart.”

Amen sister!
