God

Two chairs, come sit

The dark of the morning, a gift of winter, and you beckon.

Two chairs. One for me, one for you.

Will I sit? Will we talk?

You ask afresh each day. You never weary.

Come sit. Come be with me. Come, be still and know that I am God.
