Learning lessons

Oops! the video didn’t show!!

Well, today I’m putting lesson number #2 from my father … go boldly even if you make mistakes.

There was supposed to be a video embedded in my post, not just the life lessons. I checked and checked it and it looks fine on the web, but it turns out it didn’t come through on the email. Oops! So, I’m sorry that you’re hearing from me again today and I’ll work on figuring out what went wrong.

If you’d like to see a video of me speaking, you can click here

Or try this http://vimeo.com/87432303

I’m putting both in to see which is a better way to embed a video for future posts.

Again, I’m sorry my intention was not to fill up your inbox this week! Still learning, eh?Sorry to drag you along for the education :)

And…I’m bawling of course. I will not be so composed as you when it is my turn for this role. Fantastic compilation Amy.

    Hi Amy,
THis is Nancy from Grace EPC. I met you many years ago when I served on the m team as well as your time at Grace. I have been attending that awesome church since 1990. I am not really a women’s retreat kind of gal. But since you were the speaker and Jean asked me several times if I was going, I attended Friday night. I already new that you were a godly women who was smart and had the ability to be real as well as entertain. It was a very encouraging time for me, both from what you share and at my table. I thank you for your prep time in what seems to have been a rough family time for you. Thanks again for sharing and encouraging us!

Nancy, not that you can tell by slow response, but I so appreciating you taking the time to comment. I’m not normally a women’s retreat kind of gal either :), but I had THE BEST TIME EVER with you all!!! Reminds me of why I wish so very much I lived in Lawrence :)
