Welcome to the new Messy Middle!

The Amazing Fran of Small Bird Studio is a mind reader and beyond kind. When I contacted her to help me redo The Messy Middle, this is what I gave her to work with: Just make it look more professional. No, folks, I did not make it easy on her!

How about this helpful comment on the font: the screen shot seemed almost too (can’t’think of the right word) but curvy and busy and the one on the website a bit too squarish. I’m sorry I can’t describe them any better.

But she did it! She got into my head, read my mind, and made the most beautiful site!

So if you are a google reader kind of reader or got this in your inbox, pop over today and check out “make over day” at The Messy Middle.

I am thrilled with it all, but know that there might be a few areas that still need tweaking or that I missed. If so, please let me know and I’ll do my best to make The Messy Middle as close to Eden Regained as possible. Wink!

. . . . .

Let me take you on a little tour.

At the top of every page, you’ll see a few links for you to check out:

Home – so you can go wandering on the site, but never really be lost.

About – if you’d like to know more about The Messy Middle.

Find me here – I’ve had the honor of guest posting at some fantastic sites and they are listed here.

Popular posts – If you want to taste a sampling of what you’ll find here.

At the bottom of each post you can link to Facebook or Twitter and you can still comment!

On the right side, as on the former site, you can subscribe by email, see the ten most recent posts, search the site, and check out the archives. There are TWO new additions. One is that I got all brave and actually put my picture up there on the front page.  The second is that Fran got super creative and made an amazing grab button so that you can add The Messy Middle to your website (if you’re into that).

Thank you Fran, you made this easy and fun (and I never hyperventilated!) Xx Amy

Amy, it looks great. Well done. What’s the “grab button”? On my screen I see formatting language beneath the picture, is that intentional? Just FYI. I like the new script of your tag line.

Hey Laura, thanks :)! The “grab button” is for people who have websites and might want to put the button on the side. It would then both let their readers know they support/like/whatever The Messy Middle and if someone clicks on it, it will lead them here :) xoxox to you! A

Hey Jolo! Thanks! I think to follow, look up near the top on the left and you’ll see some kind of “+” sign, you can follow that way. OR, you can subscribe by entering your email and then the posts will come into your inbox. Hope that helps, I’m not the most technical person! Amy
