Can you spot the difference?

After an international flight (really any flight), it is a wonderful feeling to open my door and be HOME. I’d had several people staying in my apartment while I was in the US and wondered after my absence what I’d find. Thankfully it was only silly, little things  that were “out of place” and nothing major.

And then something caught my eye.

I’ll show you two pictures and see if you can spot what was about of place. This is how this antique teacher’s lectern looked when I got home:

This is how I normally have things arranged:

I’m sure you’ve spotted the difference. The way the shoes are pointed. externally that was such a small thing, a trifling really. But in my jet-lagged stage as I turned the shoes around, internally it was a gentle reminder from the One who directs my path.

Amy, press on. Go in the right direction. Stay on the right path and I will direct you.
